We close at 2.45pm on Easter Saturday, and New Year’s Eve.
We close for annual holidays on New Year’s Day, Mother’s Day, Easter Sunday, 11th, 12th and 13th July, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Due to car parking access and staffing, Funtastic may close in adverse weather. Please ring the centre before making your journey especially if there is snow.
A 90-minute session will be enforced within the 2 hour session. This will ensure staggered entry and exit times in each slot. Exit times are provided when booking. Please do your best to adhere to the time as we do have restrictions on the number of people we can have in the building.
For general play your 90 minutes starts whenever you arrive. All times will end at the end of each session regardless of time in, even if you arrive late. Cleaning of areas and reset is necessary between sessions so all customers must leave the building on time.

All sessions must be pre-paid and pre-booked. Please ensure that you register all visitors for your visit as we must monitor numbers.

Our centre primarily caters for children from walking up to age 11. We have 2 softplay frames and a laser arena. Our toddler area is for children age 3 and under. Children over this age will not be permitted in this frame at anytime and will be asked by staff to move to the other frame. The area requires parental or guardian supervision of children at all times. Our larger softplay frame is for children up to the age of 11.
Parents and guardians(16+) can accompany children in the toddler frame. They are required to wear socks at all times and must not use any of the slides or rides. In the larger frame we encourage independent play for children age 4 and over. Adults should only enter the frame if children are in distress or require help with initial navigation. Teenage visitors, 12-16 years old, will have no access to either playframe as we require adult supervision.
Our laser arena is for children aged 7 – 11. Children aged over and under this will not be permitted into the laser arena. Parents and guardians are not permitted within this frame during active gaming and must remain in the spectator area.
This really depends on the individual child.
We have a sensory room with bubble tubes, an infinity tube and fibre optics, which babies can enjoy. We also have bouncers and high chairs available on the main floor.
Babies who are able to sit and crawl are more than welcome to explore our toddler frame. There is no charge for babies until they are over one and walking.
If you are bringing a baby without an accompanying paid sibling, please ensure you book additional adult tickets as required.
Entry to Funtastic is dependent on age. There is no charge for babies under one and/or not walking.
Toddler time £5.95 for 90 minutes from 10.00am to 12.45pm, Wednesday & Friday (Term time only)
General entry is £6.95 for children aged 3 and under and £7.95 for children aged 4 to 11.
These entry prices include one free adult for each paying child. Additional adults (16+) are charged at £2.50
Teenage visitors, 12 to 16, must purchase a Teenager Ticket priced at £2.50. Additional free adult spaces can be used by teenagers, but please note they will not have access to either playframe as we require adult supervision.
If you are bringing a baby without an accompanying paid sibling, please ensure you book additional adult tickets as required.
Children over the age of 11 are not permitted in the frames.
No, the sensory room doesn’t need booked. The room is available to use at any time. It is kept locked, but just ask at reception to gain entry.
Yes, but only a cake – no additional sweets or treats. These should be purchased from our café. You must inform reception on arrival that you have a cake.

Funtastic is as far as possible a cashless venue. Payment should be made where possible by card.
Yes, we can offer chicken bites, fish fingers and sausages in gluten free, wheat free, dairy free and egg free alternatives. Allergy meals are served with McCain oven chips. Vegetarian nuggets are also available.
If, however you would prefer to provide your own allergy food, this is a not a problem. Just let us know when you are in reception at entry. Allergy and diabetic information is available at the café.
Pom Bear crisps are kept behind our café. Please ask your server.
A microwave and hot water for bottles are available at the café.

Our Mayhem laser parties are priced at £17.95 per child (£18.95 per child for Private Hire). The price is for all children attending aged 7 to 11 years old. Guests outside of this can have food and party bags if required for an additional cost.

Our softplay parties are priced at £13.95 per child (£14.95 per child for Private Hire). The price is for all birthday children aged 1 to 11 years old and any guests over one and walking up to aged 11. Guests outside of this can have food and party bags if required for an additional cost.

Private hire party sessions are available on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays at 6.00pm to 7.30pm.
Soft play parties are for ages up to 11 with a minimum booking of 25 Children.
Laser parties are for ages 7 -11 with a minimum booking of 15 Children
Tween Parties are for 11 – 14 year olds who still enjoy soft play or laser fun! (mins as above).
Please note : all other rules will still remain in force during private sessions.
Yes, a £50.00 non-refundable deposit is required to book your party in Funtastic. Party slots cannot be held or provisionally booked. The deposit is non-refundable, however in the event that your party is no longer suitable we may be able to move it, if we are given sufficient notice and a suitable replacement slot is available.
Yes, the minimum number required to book our softplay party package is 8 paid children and for our Mayhem laser party package is 10 paid children.
There are four party rooms within Funtastic. Three of the rooms comfortably hold 30-34 children with the remaining room holding 18-20. Two of the larger rooms have adjoining doors which will allow us to cater for parties of up to 50 children. An additional deposit will be required to book the double room and this is subject to available. Please contact us directly if you think you may require the double room.
Our maximum for the Mayhem laser party is 28 playing at one time, during private hire.

Just your cake, candles and kids. Food is served in party boxes and we can provide cups for juice, as well as napkins.
We ask that you do not bring cake knives into Funtastic. We will provide you with a child friendly knife when you need to cut your cake. Lighters are available for candles.
Party bags can be added to your party at a cost of £1.50 per party bag or £2.00 per Sweet Cup. These need only be ordered on the day.
Our party bags contain a packet of crisps, a packet of Haribos, a small chocolate bar, a Drumstick Lolly and Love Hearts. Our party cup contains a variety of unwrapped individual sweets and jellys.
Mayhem party bags are priced at £2.50 which includes a keepsake keyring.
Once your final food order is placed and we have an exact number of guests we will put your bags in your room. This will give you time If you wish to add anything additional in the bags.

No, Funtastic has a café available which can cater for any adult food you may require.
Parties can order both hot and cold platters along with the children’s food. There is no need to pre-order these.
Teas and coffees are purchased from our café and a total bill will be prepared at the end of your party. If you wish to serve traybakes at your party these should be pre-ordered 48 hours in advance of your party.
You are more than welcome to bring along balloons, banners and tablecloths if you wish.
Banners should be attached to the walls with blue-tac only. No forms of sticky tape should be used on paintwork.
Helium balloons must be weighted at all times. We cannot allow gas canisters within Funtastic, so any balloons should be inflated before arriving. We do not allow rocket/firework candles, confetti balloons, party poppers, bubbles or any form of table confetti/glitter.
In Funtastic we do cater for a large volume of parties, so there may be a party both before and after your slot. We allow 30 minutes between parties for guests to vacate the room, us to clean and reset the room and the next guests to arrive.
If you arrive 5 minutes before your party slot we will show you to your room. Your room is yours and is available throughout your party, so you have plenty of time when the kids are off playing to put up any decorations.
Certain forms of outside entertainment may be allowed during your party but must be discussed and agreed on booking.
Funtastic does not allow inflatables, magicians, live animals or glitter tattoos.
We do not have any storage or refrigeration facilities available for cakes. Cakes can be very expensive and intricate and we would not want to risk them being damaged whilst in our care.
As your room is available throughout your party slot you can place your cake within the party room whenever you arrive.

PLEASE NOTE FUNTASTIC IS A NUT FREE ZONE
When you book your party we will ask you to give us a rough estimate of guest numbers. If when sending your invites this number changes significantly we do ask that you give us a call to update us. We will phone you on the Friday before your party to confirm the final numbers attending.
On the day of your party there may be additional guests who did not reply to the invite or who could not make it due to illness, etc. You will only be charged on the day for those who actually attend.
On occasion due to illness or circumstances beyond your control your birthday booking may no longer be suitable.
Whilst deposits are non-refundable, subject to availability and notice, we may be able to reschedule your party. Party deposits cannot be exchanged or used for general admission/play.
Please contact us by email before making any further bookings.
If another suitable date cannot be found, we will hold your deposit for a period of 6 months only.
